Steep is a platform for discovering Instagram Story inspiration. We (Oimachi) operate the Steep website at steep.design (the “Site”) and all related websites, software, mobile apps, and other services that we provide (together, the “Service”) with the goal of inspiring and enabling designers to create more incredible Stories for Instagram. Your use of the Service, and our provision of the Service to you, constitutes an agreement by you and Steep to be bound by the terms and conditions in these Terms of Service.
We do not own the rights to the videos distributed through the Service. All videos are available to the public via Instagram, directly or indirectly through the Instagram sharing feature. All videos have been curated personally by us (Oimachi). However, videos on the Site are not exclusive and you might encounter them elsewhere, i.e. in your own stories on Instagram.
If you are the owner of a video posted on the Service and want it removed, please contact us on email@example.com and we will remove it.
Our goal is to collect a diverse range of Story inspiration to display on the Site. However, the majority of the Stories we feature, are personally collected by us. The Stories we get exposed to are based on our own interests and geographic profile. For this reason, some videos on the Site will be with danish text and speak.
Some of our collections will only be available with our Service once you buy access to view them. We strive to make our Service on Steep affordable for everyone. As we do not currently have the money to hire a hardcore lawyer and examine every wording in Instagram's policies, we like to save up any money we can for a rainy day. This also means that we won't be able to give you any refund for purchases made through our Service.
We remain the right to change what videos are available in our Service – even for users who have made a purchase through the Site. This can be for multiple reasons, but mainly in case a third party requests us to remove a video. We will do our best to always provide the same amount of content for our users, even if the content itself changes.
In the unlikely event that the Service will be forced to shut down, we will make sure that all paying users will get notified in advance. We will also do our best to find an alternative solution to continue to inspire our users with great Instagram Stories.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEEP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

Steep follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
We may change this policy from time to time and if we do, we’ll post any changes on this page. If you continue to use Steep after those changes are in effect, you agree to the new policy. If the changes are significant, we may provide a more prominent notice or get your consent, as required by law.
